The turn sheet consists of three parts: a large fitted sheet which is placed on the mattress, a large sliding sheet, and a non-slip mat. The upper side of the sliding sheet is made of cotton/natural ticking.
The turn sheet is used for pain-sensitive patients, heavy patients, and special care patients. Moving and laterally repositioning patients is made much easier. Rolling up the
turn sheet against the patient's body in a lateral position and then fixing it in place with a bed sheet provides simple and gentle lateral position support.
